Impro In The Park

Are you a complete beginner? Would you like to try the magical craft of Improv theatre? You’re in the right place!
In our Impro In The Park sessions we will guide you in your first steps in Improv, in a relaxed and informal setting.
These are standalone sessions that you can buy individually, and make up your mind on whether you would like to continue your Improv journey next season. In summer 2026, we’ll have sessions in June, July and possibly August.
The day before the session, you will receive an email with the exact location.

We will also work on storytelling, scenic presence, spacework, and other tools you will need to approach solid scenework.

All beginner classes will have a end-of-year show in the weekend of 19-20-21 June 2026.
To play in the show, improvisers will have to have attended at least 50% of the classes throughout the season.

Not sure yet about whether to commit to a whole season? If the group isn’t sold out, your first class in September can be considered a “free tryout session”! Write to info@improbrussels.com specifying for which group you would like to be in the “tryout” list for.
Please note: registrations take precedence over tryout sessions. This means that even if you booked your “tryout” spot, the course can still sell out, and in that case the tryout is no longer available. If you are on the tryout list for a group, and it is about to sell out, you will receive an email so you can decide how to move forward.

with Billy Kissa

Thursdays, 19:30 - 22:00, Rue des Foulons 47-49 (1000 Bruxelles)

What is the true relationship between good and evil? Are we allowing ourselves to see the nuances in people and the world around us? In this course, we will dive into the complexity of character and human nature, peeling back the layers that reveal both light and shadow. We will focus on the creation of villains, as multidimensional figures shaped by desire, fear, and contradiction.
Together, we will explore what makes a villain compelling, how to find their humanity, and how their motivations often reflect aspects of ourselves we prefer to keep hidden.
Join me on a journey where the lines between hero and villain, right and wrong, light and dark begin to blur and where every character becomes an opportunity to understand the world, and ourselves, a little better.

WHY TAKE IMPROV ACTING CLASSES WITH IMPRO BRUSSELS?

At Impro Brussels we value process.
You will never be asked to “think fast”, or to “be funny”, or anything like that. Rather, to… have fun!
We have to get rid of our inner judge, and connect with our scene partners to share that unique, unrepeatable moment that is happening in the improvisation. That’s why it’s also called “unscripted theatre”.
You will get out of your confort zone in a safe space, you will have a confidence boost to speak in public, learn how to have charisma on stage, on top of course of learning techniques of improvised theatre!
Whether you are a complete beginner, or have some experience, we have the right class for you. We have improv for everyone.
Our classes are in English; it doesn’t matter if your level of English is not perfect - almost no one is a native speaker. You will see that words don’t even count that much, while you’re acting.
